I believe we are all inherently good at a soul level. I know sometimes people don’t act from their highest selves, and I’ve learned the power of forgiveness in these times.
The power of finding compassion within myself, to reach to the love in another person, has opened new doors to understanding in my life. It’s a positive cycle of love, but it has to start somewhere.
Love others more and you love yourself more for the person you’re becoming… and vice versa in a continuous loop.
I think now is a key time to remember that we all are good at our core. With all that’s going on in the world a reminder of this is so important. We are born pure and innocent and have that within us always, despite how we may choose to act.
If we choose to focus on hate and blame, we only perpetuate it. The more we focus on someone else’s guilt, the more guilty we inevitably feel. But when we choose to focus on the love and innocence in others, we feel our own love and innocence.
The world needs souls who are choosing to focus on love in these times so we can perpetuate that goodness instead of negativity. Now more than ever.
Remember – you can only fight darkness with light.
We can find compassion within by remembering that when people don’t function from the loving place in themselves, it’s not because they’re bad but because they’re wounded. Loving them where they’re at and seeing a loving path is the only way to heal. We judge because of a lack of knowing the inner turmoil and pain of each person, and why they do what they do.
People can only be to us what we are to them. Be willing to focus on the innocence in everyone.
Have faith that it’s there, even when we can’t see it. This is where true power lies, and where true change can happen.
Every emotion is derived from either love or fear. We have a choice of which vibration we’ll hold and radiate out from us. In turn, we can start to change our perspectives, and ultimately the reality we experience.
“It’s so easy to have faith in humanity when humanity is acting nice. It’s so easy to have faith in people when they’re acting the way we want them to. Spiritual power lies in knowing you ARE a good person even if you might not be acting that way right now.” – Marianne Williamson
The only way I can believe in my own goodness is to know that I’m good even when I don’t act that way. And because I want to experience that about myself, I choose to remember it about others.
The change begins with each of us working on focusing on the love in ourselves and healing our own wounds. This gives us more power to be there fore others’ healing. We are the angles we’re waiting for. . . so embrace that!
Cheers to you!
